The draft CIA Report started to be consulted on with Project stakeholders during September 2024. During Monday 23rd – Friday 27th September 2024, consultation and disclosure of the 1st Draft of the CIA Report was held in Lilongwe with key Project stakeholders. Presentations prepared to support the stakeholder consultation are saved on this page under the CIA Disclosure Communications Materials heading.

In addition, an update on the Project’s cumulative impact assessment approach and timing was included in the July 2024 ESIA Disclosure presentation and relevant information is included in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Plan (ESMMP) (31st July 2024 version) saved here.
